There were already enough purely utilitarian travel bags on the market, and also ones that claimed to keep clothes wrinkle-free. VOCIER wanted to go a different route: to provide the ideal blend of proven practicality, and sophistication.

The problem we faced was trying to balance style with practicality and finesse with usability. There was a theoretical solution already in mind, based on simple physics: remove the causes of wrinkles. Traditional bags wrinkle clothes because of tight corners and pressure that is put on garments. By avoiding these factors, wrinkles are eliminated.

Solving this problem in practice, however, wasn’t so easy. The luggage still had to be ergonomic, lightweight and, of course, beautiful. Plus, it needed to meet all international carry-on regulations.
